1. The card and the parties
The Jadenex Card is a prepaid Mastercard linked to your verified Jadenex account. It is issued by the card issuer identified in your account under licence from Mastercard International. Mastercard is a registered trademark of Mastercard International Incorporated.
These terms are additional to the terms of service. Where they conflict, these terms prevail for matters relating to the card.
2. Eligibility and issuance
A card is issued only to a verified account holder aged eighteen or over who has passed a residential address check and who is resident in a jurisdiction in which the card programme operates.
A virtual card is available in the mobile application immediately on approval. A physical card is despatched to your registered address and must be activated before use.
3. Card balance
The card balance is a prepaid electronic money balance funded by a transfer from your trading balance. It is not a bank deposit, it does not earn a return and it is not covered by a deposit guarantee scheme.
A transaction is authorised only where the card balance is sufficient to cover it together with any applicable fee. The card has no credit facility and no overdraft.
You may transfer funds back from the card balance to your trading balance at any time.
4. Using the card
The card may be used at any merchant that accepts Mastercard, subject to the limits published in your account and to any merchant category that the programme restricts.
You must keep the card, the card number and the personal identification number secure and must not allow another person to use them. Notify Jadenex immediately if the card is lost or stolen or if you suspect it has been used without your authority.
The card may be frozen and unfrozen in the mobile application. A frozen card declines every transaction until it is unfrozen.
5. Limits
The following limits apply unless a different limit is published in your account.
| Limit | Amount |
|---|---|
| Maximum card balance | 25,000.00 USDT |
| Monthly spend | 10,000.00 USDT |
| Daily cash withdrawal at an automated teller machine | 1,000.00 USDT |
| Single transaction | 5,000.00 USDT |
A limit may be reviewed where account activity changes or where a regulatory requirement applies. Notice is given before a limit is reduced unless immediate action is required.
6. Fees and currency conversion
Card fees are published in the fee schedule. A transaction in a currency other than the card currency is converted using the rate applied by the card scheme at the time of settlement, and the foreign currency fee stated in the fee schedule is applied to the converted amount.
A merchant that offers to convert a transaction into the card currency at the point of sale may apply its own rate. Jadenex does not control that rate.
7. Disputed and unauthorised transactions
Notify Jadenex without undue delay and in any event within thirteen months of the debit if you become aware of an unauthorised or incorrectly executed transaction.
Where a transaction is found to have been unauthorised, the amount is refunded and the balance restored to the position it would have been in, unless you acted fraudulently or with gross negligence or failed to keep your credentials secure.
Where you dispute a transaction with a merchant, raise it with the merchant first. Where the dispute is not resolved, a chargeback may be available under the rules of the card scheme and Jadenex will raise it on your behalf where those rules permit.
8. Suspension and cancellation
The card may be suspended or cancelled where there are reasonable grounds to suspect unauthorised or fraudulent use, where a legal or regulatory obligation requires it, or where these terms are breached. Where possible you are told before the card is suspended and, where not, immediately afterwards.
You may cancel the card at any time in your account. On cancellation the remaining card balance is returned to your trading balance after any pending transaction has settled.
9. Liability
Jadenex is not liable where a merchant declines to accept the card or where a transaction cannot be completed for a reason outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, for fraudulent misrepresentation or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Changes and notices
These terms may be amended. Where an amendment is material, notice is given before it takes effect. Continued use of the card after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Notices are sent to the email address registered to your account.
